285/75/16 geolanders on stock 16x7 rim on 99 4runner sr5... some lift, no trimming, no grinding, great fit!! and very nice on road qualities, along with decent offroad, its a street tread, but much better than the bald stocks off road

Cutting fenders and modding the new beast

Mine has 31x10.5's, but I'd like to have something 33" or bigger without lifting the truck. Does anyone know where I could find out how to cut my fenders or mabe find some replacement high-clearance fenders (BushWhackers for this model are lame)? My '94 4x4 reg cab has just enough room for those 31's to fit inside the fender well on the rear when she's torqued and anything knobby may scrape. Does anyone know how to keep this truck low/stock height, but still get some testosterone laced meats around her? And should I get some locking diffs or gears in it? I've had the truck 3 months and have done a $350 front brake job, $850 clutch, flywheel, rear mainseal, and pinion seal replacement, and the 15x8 steelies w/31x10.5's. My next move should be the u-joint replacement in the rear and a snorkel, because the darn air intake is too low and directly in the front, at the headlight. I'd also like to know if anyone knows where I can get a huge rollbar for the bed. Thanks!

Why does it look like your in San Antonio. That looks like an area around the north tip of devils den, way north near Eckert and Bandera.

Well, I do live in San Antonio, and I do play in the den alot, but those pictures were actually from the bus barn (off wetmore, by the niesd police substation and the home depot warehouse). If you're not scared of the possiblilty of suckin water, it's rreeaaalllly deep right now from those couple of days of rain we got. I went down there last night and it still comes up to the bottom of my doors in the SHALLOW parts haha.

Bottom on the doors eh? Thats around the dept I would drive on down Leon Creek after a raid. Oh I remember getting water up to the bottom on my headlight and freaking out. Just kept driving forwards to push water out of the way with my bumper. I wish I still lived in SA, I am up in DFW area and there isnt a place like the den up here, atleast not where cops dont camp.
