Broke the same piece on mine don't remember what it was but does have two vacum lines attached. I would replace it.

Located on the back of the lower intake manifold.

Broke mine, too. It sits behind the intake plenum attached to the top of the block IIRC. I think it was still like $75 from the wrecker. Amazing!

Edit: '92 3VZ, by the way.

The sensor with the 2 vacuum lines is far right in the pic...or I'm just getting old and can't see that well!

I don't think so. The far right has a coolant hose attached to it. I think that's the two-vaccuum line sensor.

Hmmm.....sounds like what mine did before I replaced the ECT...the idle bouncing that is. The temp gauge is probably your thermostat. Pull the broken sensor out and see if it's kinda greenish and rusty.

Oh! And to pull the codes, there's two terminals on the diagnostic thingy at the passenger side wheel well. It's a little grey box with a flip up lid. I think the terminals are TE1 and E1, but that's probably wrong. There's threads on pulling the codes, anway. You just have to jumper the two correct terminals with a wire or paper clip, turn the key on to ignition, and the check engine light will flash a certain number of times.

Better yet, here's the link..
