What is done when an injector is serviced?
I want to send my injectors out to get re-conditioned (tested, cleaned, etc.) When removing one of them, I broke one of the tips a bit. Will this GREEN tip be replaced when it is serviced? Can I replace this tip? What parts do they actually replace when doing this? Please see the attached picture...
Thanks, Brian

The guy I have had clean injectors for me has always replaced those plastic caps.
He runs a "before" flow and pattern test. Then runs a solvent and ultrasonic treatment through them while they are being activated. Then runs an "after" test. Then replaces the pintle cap (green tip) and all the orings.
He uses the ASNU injector cleaning machine
Where are you located? If near Seattle, I can send you his address.
Another place near Seattle does them and sells on ebay. I have not used them, but their prices look great. They also have full service, or cleaning only (if you are on a tight budget)
