What is this connector?

Can anyone tell me where this is supposed to go?



Driver side as u can see its between the dizzy and airbox

Doesnt look like theres any metal on the connector?

Truck is running a really low idle at warm, just changed water pump/ timing belt, idler pulley

It looks like the connector is still connected, but the wire has been pulled out of the housing. It's hard to tell from the picture what that is.

yeah thats what it looks like to me too
it attaches to some weird ball shaped thing right behind the thermostat

From the location it sounds like the oil pressure sender gauge.

Look for a wire lead coming from the oil sending unit....the weird ball shaped thing. If there's not one....a wire lead...there should atleast be a flat terminal to plug into.

Another possibility is if you have ADD 4wd. It could be for the actuator switch.

This does connect to the the oil sending unit, as well as something else, its like a Y. Ill have to go check when i get back to my truck.
The oil gauge is working fine as well as the temp gauge. I dont have ADD.
