i could be wrong, but i believe the roller you want is one of the foam rollers that are made for smooth surfaces vs one with heavy nap. usually they come in the 'weenie roller' or the 'mini roller' size.

Candy?

Candy Apple Red

I'm thinking about doing mine in this color and was thinking of giving that Dupli-Color stuff a chance.(You know, the stuff they sell at Pepboys, Napa, Advance,..)
Anyone try it? It comes in quarts and is already reduced ready to spray, also there are no "windows" according to the can. It is a complete system from primer to clear.

x2 on cutting the rusted metal off before bondo. The bed on my truck was falling apart and the only thing holding it together was blobs of bondo. I'm sure if it would have been repaired the right way it would still be around today.

Yeah, that's what I'm using. The mini 4" foam roller with a rounded end.

I've always thought it would be cool to have one painted a flat gray, like a navy chopper:

I like greens, had a 73 Triumph TR6 BRG, beautiful color

in about 4 years if I still have my 87 Toyota, it is getting painted white or a green color, really don't like the red (slows it down too much :LOL
