In my opinion, the fastest color is BMW Avus Blue.

Anyhow, I think you should paint it a flat desert beige color or a flat olive drab green. I'm doing one of those colors for my runner once I repair the fenders. I think either one with a canvas back would look amazing. Of course, that yellow one a few pages back looks purdy as well.

Thanks for all your help!!
that one pic i posted, with my shadow on the ground is the only one i have right now with the beadlock look.

you can find yellow, LED tire caps that light by centrifugal force on fleabay. they're not too expensive. i've seen more of them on motorcycles than cars, but i think in your application it will be pretty trick.

and once i get this top done, i'll definitely post a new thread to let people know if they're available to buy. or at the least i'll post up how-to's so others can do what i did. good luck with your build.

not everyone reads the full thread. they just answer the original post to share 2 cents quickly.

but hey, mr. yellow. remember this: it is EASY to overdo it with yellow and take it past cool to cheezy. the body is yellow. maybe the roll bar is done yellow. the ring on the wheels. but then STOP. don't put yellow doo-dads all over the inside of the car. it's easy to overdo. when in doubt, make it black. the truck is already screamin yellow, so any other yellow should be super subtle.

you'll have a nice truck soon enough. enjoy the project.

You don't have to worry about me going buckwild and painting the interior, that looks like crap in my opinion. I plan on keeping the roll bar black. Other than the body of the truck and some minor interior pieces all i want to paint yellow is that strip around the rims.

Here is a pic of the interior of my car (Tiburon) as you can see, i like a clean, non-painted interior.
