what camper shell fits?

I always thought the SnugTop brand had the best fit/look for the '89-'95 body style. I've had mine for a few years now and I'm very happy with it. That said, there are several manufacturers like Leer, Innovative, . . . hmmm I can't think of the others right now.

Canopies for Toyota shortbeds from 84-95 will fit, shortbed Tacos 95-04 should fit too.
The Extracab canopies won't fit if they are cab-fitting, if they are straight-up at the cab they will fit.
Some other small trucks may have the same bed dimensions as well, but you should measure to be certain. I do know that the Ranger and Mitsubishi shortbed canopies will NOT fit, they are roughly 1 3/4" too short. (I know this because I inherited a mint canopy off a Mitsu shortbed, and it was too short, and I sold it to a guy who just bought a new Ranger and it fit perfectly.)
Hope that helps.

i've got a snugtop on mine, looks really sharp when it's wet, since the paint/gel coat/etc is pretty much oxidized. if i run my fingernail i get the true color to come out of it, is there any hope to buff it out?

Gelcoat or fiberglass "restorers" do not work. None of them, I've spent a fortune over the years trying to find a product that works for the boats. The trick is remove the oxidized layer, and buff the gelcoat itself back to a shine.

If they color match they are most likely to be painted. Gelcoat doesn't lend itself to easy color matching, imagine all the colors! - while paint is a snap.
