what kind of hubs you got add man ??? cause if there add (auto) then the drivers side might not be locking and it just dropping the pass side go stright and see what happens it should be fine cause with 4wd it does that if im turning on dry roads is that what your doing?

Mine has an auto Tranny so usually you would not have to worry about missin with the hubs but that is a possibility though. But its like werid cause it will drive with that whole right side lowered to the ground. Theres no noise so I figured the axle and the case was fine but like blah.......

What he means is do you have to get out and physically lock in the hubs at the wheels?

hmm i never really bothered with them. I live with a bunch o peeps who have toyotas and my friend has any 86 4-runner and hes never messed with the hubs and his 4WD drive works ok. He knows nothing about the mechnical of his truck though so he does not know anything. I read over a Repair book i have for my runner to see if i could find a clue but it never said anything about messing with the hubs so i don't thing there manual huds though i could be wrong. If so its only the right front one. I'll have to tinker with the hubs tomarrow. If its not the hubs It might be alittle more complicated.....

If you have manual hubs, you have to get out of the truck, go to each front wheel and turn a switch from free to lock.

You obviously have auto hubs.

I would get all four wheels off the ground (lift, jackstands, whatever) put in 4wd and see what turns. I'm guessing right side turns but not left. this could also be a suspension issue.

I don't think it's a hub. I mean if you have one hub locked and the other free, you essentially are imitating the ADD system on trucks so equipped. You have no torque on either front wheel.

I'm leaning towards a suspension issue or steering but I admit, it's hard to visualize this one.

Hey guys i know its late but had to work. Well i did look at it today, first i swtiched it into 4H and looked at the side low to the ground. I could not get a good view cause i don't really have enough stuff at home to jack it up to my liking. But I peeked at it and did not notice anything unsual. its like The suspension disapers and lets the truck drop. But i didn't see anything of badness. My front axle hogs head does have a pretty bad leak.... might be the axle.... but why would that make it sink to the ground..... Picture it this way. Its like the right front shocks just give way and let the truck come down. Ther is a kinda of klunk when it pops back into place after its been down. See its werid. Its like that side has hydrolics or somethin. Cause it will drive with that front right side low to the ground. Thne when i Switch it back in 2H it kinda klunks. I got some friends with jacks i'll get a better view at it soon till then keep me posted with possible thoughts guys.

you do not have hubs if you have add.....they are equipped with full time locked flanges so your cv's are always spinning inside the front diff. you can install manual hubs like many on the board have in order to save cv wear and tear

Wow, you have found one interesting problem.

Any chance you can post up some pics of your setup? I mean take a lot of pics from different angles of the truck sagging and normal. This one is tricky.

Hey guys i tried putting it in 4WD and seeing if it would sag down but it didn't?!!?! It had been a while since that sagging issue of the front right end but like i'm sure it didn't fix it self. I tried like 3 or 4 differnet ways but it was working perfectly..... I'll have to keep tring it again maybe its random but for those intersted i'll keep this posted. Now its not doing WTF.
