Went wheelin'... now the truck won't start

So, yesterday, after I got done havin some fun in the woods with my buddies, my truck wouldn't start. Kinda messing around with the positive battery cable will get it to start. I'm fairly sure its something electrical, any ideas? My first thoughts were that it was a bad ground or connection somewhere. Any help is greatly appreciated

I would guess that as well. While you were wheeling you probably jarred something loose. Have you already checked them?

Clean both battery terminals,
Check the tightness of the pos. battery cable on the solenoid,
You may even want to remove the starter and have a look-see at the solenoid, may need some attention in there.

Were you mudding at all?

Maybe you got the starter wet and dirty?

I went through one pretty serious mudhole a couple times, the rest was just trail-riding and such. I think that I just jarred a battery cable loose or something. Seeing as this problem as never occured with my truck before, I figured I'd ask around and see if there was anything wierd with 3-liters that may explain this.

take off both battery cables and CLEAN WELL. If they need to be replaced, do so. THEN start looking for other problems.

You just answered your own question. Clean both posts on your battery.

That should work disconnect bolth cables, clean the post's and cables good. Make sure they are tight when they go back. That should do it. Quick and easy troubleshooting!
