water pump hole

water pump hole

Is there anything that is supposed to plug this hole on top of the water pump?

I thought I somehow lost a bolt, but from pics I've looked up and from the FSM, there's nothing mentioned

All water pumps will usually have a hole there. When the seal fails it will leak out there so you will know to replace it.
