Please search, there are at least 2 or 3 threads that are identical to this. (Probably dozens)

Also, grab yourself a manual. It is the most reliable source of information, and the fastest way to get it. You can get it from here, I hope you aren't using dial-up:

And yes, 125 PSI is low.

Welcome to YT.

Yes, search around a bit. But I'll help ya out a bit. Sounds like the HG is going/has gone/is on it's way out. Click on the FSM in my sig for help.

Same here. I have to add water every time I drive my truck. I'm pretty sure it's the head gasket. I also see white smoke coming out the tail pipe sometimes.

That's a bummer you only got 2 years out of the motor before having problems, big 87. Maybe try re-torquing the head bolts?

I'm building a motor right now, out of a 2nd block I picked up. My plan is to use a mls head gasket and ARP head studs. I'm also having the block decked and buying a new head. I hope to avoid head gasket problems. There are constantly threads on here about blown head gaskets.

mine doesn't leak water anywhere..but i'm putting out a HUGE cloud of White smoke..and the overflow tank is full, and overflowing actually.

i'm about 95% sure it's my headgasket..i only got 9500-10,000 miles on my motor
