About regearing, yes on a 22RE with 33s you will most definently want to regear. I had 32x11.50s on my 88 and I couldnt hit 60 downhill with a tail wind. And with my 95 4Runner with a modified 3.0 I cant barely get up to 75 and I have plenty more power then my old 22RE. I have 4.30s and am going to 4.88s so I will let you know the change when I get them in.

Shim the lower bumpstops or avoid jumping the truck and it does...

People looking for wheel travel don't usually mess around with tbar cranks. My personal experience showed me that I rubbed bad with 32x11.50 before I lifted the truck but after a tbar crank not so much.

I always babied the truck though...

If a slight rub bothers you shim the lowers.

I agree 100%...

There are people around here that say they run 35's with stock gears and are ok with it, but I am not one of those people. My 32's made my truck a slow pig that I learned to hate. Now with the 36's and 5.29's I love my truck again. I can turn the 36" tires easier than I could the 32's.

Definitely regear if you have the cash.

I've been runnin AAL for a loooong time with no problems. It's a cheap way to change shot leafs into something that works fine for a long while. If my springs end up going, i'll just buy another old used set of leafs and put the AAL of those. It's cheap and effective. I see no problems with the generic AAL.

I did decide to do AAL in the rear, but I am going to do the the two long ones instead of the one short one. The only problem is, Superlift, Rancho, and I think there is a Procomp, Rancho being a $115, the most. Is the Rancho 2 leaf the way to go?

Talk to Alcan, they quoted me 56 plus shipping for a custom AAL, which means you would only need one. It would be MUCH better than a generic AAL and doenst look to be too bad on price either.
