VIN Number Help

The top dash is not the original and doesn't have the VIN by the windshield.

I read it should be on the inside of the door/door pillar. Not there either.

Checked the firewall.. no dice.

1991 - pickup V6 - swb -- would it be stamped in the frame or anything? thx

The title and registeration (spelling?) should have it. I know theres alot more spots but I just cant think of em. Try googling "vin locations on a truck"

Look on the framerail behind the passenger front tire. There will be a rectangular embossed section on the side of the frame with the VIN stamped into it.

lol i think back in the pre 90's they didint do a whole lot of stamping vins everywhere like they do now, i think all the spots listed are the only ones, at least all the ones ive seen....and the stamping on the frame can easily be removed...but if it was stolen they prolly would have put diff vins from another truck so they could sell it right?

I know the history and owners back to 1999... not so much worried it about it being stolen... more worried about it actually being a 91 pickup lol (not that it matters really... just want to know for sure)

I will keep digging... there should be some tags on the diff.. I might try the tranny/tcase too.
