Are your U-joints on the rear driveshaft ok and rear pinion nut tight? I replaced both of mine, and re-torqued the rear pinion nut and the vibrations are all but gone.

mine shakes like that occasionally when my tires need balancing. Is it only at higher speed or at all speeds. My runner would vibrate a little all the time but ALOT btween 50 -70 then smoothed out. Balanced my tires at work and no longer have the problem. Comes back every once in a while and i just rebalance my tires.

check the exhaust system its the only thing that moves when the car is not.
...broken hangar
...broken heatshield

a little drastic which i highly doubt but ... broken motor or transmission mount

if you're feeling insecure about it get underneath it and look at everything. look to see if anything is loose/leaking, etc. it'll reassure you that everything is ok, as well as making sure you see any major issues.

chances are it could be nothing. I know sometimes I feel insecure about my truck because of the age, and the fact that I have to commute long distances to/from school, and other places. I find that just keeping a closer look at everything makes me feel more secure that everything is functioning properly.

yeah thanks i use my yota as my daily driver and have to drive quite a ways for stuff too. almost gonna hit 200,000...

im trying to get a new job (12 bucks an hour receptionist job really cake easy) and if i do that, i might as well buy a car, cuz the yota cant handle the street driving of southern california's lead foots.

but if i do that, ill never ever sell my yota shes my baby.

i will take a look underneath, i know my tranny fluid needs changed...

if i can get everything on my yota (suspension, stereo, and finally a new engine after i hit 200,000, ill just keep driving it)

personally if i had a place to keep a second vehicle i'd just go out and buy a late 90's corolla. they're cheap, get awesome gas mileage, safe, and reliable.
