Vibration

I have replaced, tie rod ends, inner and outer wheel bearings, drag link, idler arm, pitman arm, shocks, alinement. I can hold the passenger wheel at 9 and 3 and get movement with a clicking sound. The wife said it sounds like metal on metal. Any Idea as to what to check again. With my hands at 12 and 6 no movement or sound.

I found the problem. When I had the front-end alignment done the clamp on the passenger outer tie-rod end and sleeve was not on the threaded part of the tie-rod. There was movement within the sleeve. I tried to move the clamp and tighten it but the damage was done. I am going to replace the outer tie-rod end and sleeve and I hope that will fix it.

Wow... that could have been dangerious. Sounds like you were one good bump away from having one wheel not connected to the steering wheel.

Make sure you let the shop know that too.
