ah, yer right. can't PM him either...
Look's like he's taken a lot of emission crap off that motor. Not sure what all the hoses go to, but I know many are used for the EGR valve, Idle Up valve, and so on and so forth. Removing these makes the ports useless, thus leading to the caps. The motor is obviously not stock though. It's probably just a trail-rig; nothing that has to go through inspection; assuming his state has vehicle inspecitons.

From the thread it "says" all that is done was the header, intake set-up, and cam. Hmm... wish I could get more info on it.

How well does yours run after doing this? Any noticable diff? fuel milage effected? low end? anything?
Why didnt you put the filters in the valve cover as well, getting rid of the other 2 large lines?
sweet paint too!

So was just looking at the motor in my blue truck and see that someone has done this same thing only rigged it all up. The hoses are cut with diff. kinds of screws in the vacuume hoses, lines have been capped or pluged, some are even going in different holes and lines and clutter and wtf!!! At least I have an all stock one still in the other truck that I can go off of as a refferans to get this one back the way it should be.
