I have a 22re with rod knock, dunno if it was a main bearing or a rod bearing or even a trust washer. Anyway the crank is chewed a little looks like metal got between each bearing on the crank. But I have a 22re in the back with 250000 miles on it. Would you just use the crank from that if the condition seemed good? Or would you turn the old one? The 22re I would be putting it in has 120000 miles which is why I'm trying to save the motor.

I would use whichever crankshaft was in better shape.

Either way, I would want to visually inspect each one and then do some measurements to see if either crankshaft needs significant machining.
