Is a used windshield worth using or selling?

My husband has a used replacement windshield for a 1985 4Runner that we were considering using for my 1989 4Runner. I only found two shops who will replace with used glass, and it seems like it might only save me $25-$50. My question to the forum is has anybody had their windshield replaced with used glass? If I don't use it, is it something worth trying to sell, or should it just be chucked? It has no cracks, but has some small chips on one edge.

Some people might use a used windshield I never would. For the slight savings I would go with a brand new one.

Budgets can be tight these things happen.

If some one can install it themselves it might be worth while.

I would give it away .

I am looking to replace mine just from it having the sand blasted effect.

Agree with Wyoming. If something goes wrong with install, labor would cost way more that your potential saving of $20.
If you can install it yourself (i.e., cheap/free labor), fine to re-use.

You will only save the $20-50 if it doesn't break on install.
Chances are you will be out another $200'ish it will cost you for the 2nd windshield.
I wouldn't bother with the used one based on the pics you show with the cracks at the edge.
