Maybe you could if you tried, but there'd be a big piece of it sticking out.

BTW, you did this without a book or a manual? How'd you know what the torque specs were?

the oil drain back is on the rear passenger corner,, look at it and see if there is a loop sticking out of the side on the driver side. If there is nothing sticking out then u must have it on correctly because there is nowhere else for it to be.

Basicly loock at the HG where the head and block meets, it the HG is the same match at the contours of the bolck to head then u have it on correctly,,there should be "NO" HG sticking out from the block. When I say "NO" I mean it should be the same shape.

Make sense?

I would think u are fine. If u had it on upside down u would, 1. have the loop for the oil drain back stickin out the driver side of the motor. 2. it would probably block the oil drain back totally.

I would think installing the HG incorrectly would involve you not paying any type of attemtion to what you were doin.

You are probably fine. Doube check for the loop onthe driver side make sure there is not one there. If it is not, you are good to go.

Try not to over think it.
