OK, so I can't remember where this part goes. It was somewhere on my 87 4 runner. Thanks for the help

I new it came from somewhere - getting ready to install the new engine and I have not hooked up the power steering yet.

alright so i got the same thing sittin around right after a rebuild...can someone post a pic of EXACTLY where it goes??? i'm completely stumped...

Seriously...haha i found it right after i got done with the rebuild...i wouldv'e done so much more maintenence, care (cleaning) and little stuff that i didnt know about that its unbelievable...

btw, the pump works without the bracket but i think ill put it on just to have the extra support, etc.

The pump works without the bracket, but over time it can vibrate loose without that lower support bracket. It can also torque the head over the the drivers side slightly, which can cause problems as well. Its best to run with that bracket attached.
