Here's the build up on one http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthrea...hlight=cummins . Sadly the DMV took his registration when they discovered the swap so he parted it out.
It's amazing the stuff the guys on pirate make

If I was looking for power, I'd go turbo! If you're resourceful, it shouldn't cost you too much.
-Ebay or junkyard turbo $100
-turbo oil drain kit $10 in parts
-turbo feed line kit $20 in parts
-ebay charge pipe kit $80
-custom turbo manifold, if you can weld and fabricate $~100
-used Air/Fuel computer $100
-ebay wastegate $60
-ebay blow off valve $25
Total cost ~$495
Then take it to a shop and have it dyno tuned and you'll be at ~$600. Depending on how much fuel our injectors and fuel pump can move, you can have as much HP as our blocks can take!
This is the path I'll go if I ever want more power out of my 4runner...

haha i kno right? it was sweet though.
is the "powerchips" your refering to the ones on ebay that say they give like 100HP and there like 20 bucks? please dont get one of those, or even think that they do as they say
and greatskiiiier, im still no tunderstanding what your gettin at. i used to run 33 with bj spacers and realxed tbars and didnt rub except on the plastic innerfender lining at flex. but oh well, this thread aint about tire clearance lol, thread, carry on

back to the original intent of this post, I have alter ego's as far as vehicles go. instead of turning my 4x4 3.0 yota into the previously mentioned monstrosities on pirate i elected to get another used vehicle to satisfy my fast and low needs. I went and got a 2wd 97 silverado spiced up the 350 a tad new paint rims lowered etc. when i want to look good, sound good, go fast, and shred rubber i drive that, when i want to go off the map and pivot turn against tree stumps with the pumper i take my yota.
A whole lot more practicle than paying 30 grand for one vehicle to take in the woods and beat on and then expect to look mint in the city
