TTY Headbolts diffrent
I bought some head bolts and problem is that the seller has sent me the 12mm 12 tooth bolts instead of those 14mm 12 tooth I use to use so I'm curious if they work the same? The 12mm has a longer thread than the 14mm bolts but look identical to one another, any problem?
Second question is that can I reuse the washer or I have to replace them too? toyo 4R 1992 V6 -
Did they lower the price for the engine wire harness? or am I being crosseye's? I think I need one... :pat:

head bolts
I have the same head bolts and they will work fine. Be sure to use a good 12 pt socket when installing them. I stripped one of mine off using a crappy socket. If the head bolts are from engbldr they are not the OEM torque to yield bolts and are reusable. They should be torqued down using the same three step method as the OEM bolts (33 ft #s, 1/4 turn, 1/4 turn). I think the heads on the bolts were made smaller to allow for better clearance.
As for the washers, I reused mine. I would just visually check them out for rust on the ones on the outside of the head and any other issues that may cause inproper torque. These are hardened washers and are pretty hard to damage torquing onto an aluminum head.

make sure you pick up some assebly lube and coat the threads of the bolt ,don't pour it in the hole ,and don't use oil cause that gives a false torque reading.
