Truck acting up

Hoookay, so my 87 22re 5spd has been acting kinda weird the last two days.

Heres the problem, lower/slightly rough idle - wouldn't stall but if i gave it some gas it cleared up the higher rpm i brought it to. So i filled up with gas because i was on extremely low tank yesterday so i filled it up with some 90 octane to full. Still didnt help, its almost like a intermittent.
On the way home tonight, it drove fine for most part, its kinda on/off situation..
1st and 2nd lower rpm's feel gut less unless it put the peddle to the floor then it just feels like how it usually should be.

Any idea where to look? im thinking my tps again.. because i know i didnt get it adjusted spot on..
Recent things ive had done, new o2 sensor a year ago(10,000km's ago), new fuelfilter, new alt, new plugs/wires( no rotor/cap yet).

Thanks fellow yoties.

well ide check off the easy stuff the TPS and the fuel filter (even tho its new) but running the truck low on gas pics up all the gunk at the bottom of the tank...and i think theres a little bag on the fuel pump that would get clogged first...

Maybe purge valve..... try tapping on the purge cansiter with a hammer a few times see if that help, purge valve may be sticking. PCV system fuctioning properly? Since you have not done distributor cap and button go ahead and try that its a cheap investment like maybe 8 bucks for em both.

i would not do it with it running first. try it with engine off, then start it and see, then tap it with engine on. this may not be a cure but its possible.

Well its possible EGR trouble if you have just about everything new. Try tapping on the EGR like the purge valve and see. Or if ya have the money its about time for a replacement EGR and OR!!!! You can try and clean out the passage in the intake manifold where the EGR bolts up too it.... it may be clogged. SEA FOAM.....?
