Here is the result with the washers, drives just like before but I had to pinch the hangar a bit as you can see in the last photo.

washers don't flex like poly or rubber. just wait for the bushing and save yourself a broken or bent spring or mount.

not a good idea but can best a fix untill you get bushing because for one all those washers will rust together causing more probs than before and they won't hold long....

meh... I don't see why that wouldn't hold up for a day as long as the washers are packed in there with no room to move bend and deform. Just get the bushing in there asap and you'll be fine.

edit: wait, did you say you were gonna be wheeling on them washers/?

wonk. good quck fix. notice the greaseable bolts listed state "dont use with" a steel sleeve. i use mobil 1 synthetic grease on the bolt before it goes it. hasnt dissapeared yet, and if it does get stuck, its not in there for long and comes out whole.

this site is awesome, search and yee shall find. Anyway, searching for 2 hours now and other than a dealer, where would I find the front rubber spring bushing. Not interested in poly. Reports on off-road.com say poly vs rubber can result in about a 1" loss in travel.

And if anyone is curious the actual part number for that bushing is 90389-14004. (48210C in the posted diagrams)

Found this one: http://www.4x4world.com.au/shopping/...roduct_id=3615

note AUS dollar not USD but close conversion. $24 shipping to US. $47.20 AU = $47.55 USD shipped.

Local dealer wanted $35 a piece $70 total.
Toyotapartszone = $57.46 shipped
Toyotapartseast = $54.50 shipped

And yes I bumped a two year old thread. 1 because I searched and found it, and two it's relative to what I was looking for and did not want to be a noob and start another thread asking the same question.

gonna bump this again, just to say, I am another victim of the bolt seized to the bushing collar. Now taking any and all suggestion how to get these out. Both the passenger side and on the drivers side. Right now I know 100% the gas tank side is not coming out on it's own. Have not touched the easier drivers side as of yet, but expecting the same issue.

Sawzall w/metal cutting blade, cut bolt in between leaf spring and hanger. Be sure to get extra blades, i went through two or three.

one thing I forgot, cutting in between the spring and hanger has the possibility of still having the bushing stuck to the bolt and the bolt head still stuck in the hanger. If it were the passenger side beating on the other end of the bolt on the threads is possible but not the gas tank side.
