I just purchased my first 4Runner. It is a 1995 SR5 3.0. I paid $900.00. Interior is clean. Previous owner stated that kids took it out to play in the mud (can't blame them) and after that they lost a head gasket and now it will not move in high range, only low range. Drives fine and shifts gears in low range but nothing in high. Any suggestions?
Also I am going to replace the front half shafts, anyone have a good suggestion on where to buy?
I see you're trying lots of sites. Because you cut-and-pasted your posting. For some reason, that does weird things to the color, and makes your post very difficult to read.
No problem, just edit your post, select all the text, pick the font color menu, and select Automatic. Don't pick ANY other color, unless you really want to experiment.
