tranny problems

i have a 1990 4runner that runs great but will not go into any gear in the trans.it is a automatic

count your bolts on your tranny pan, if you have 21 bolts, then it takes 4.8 quarts. Hope this helps

i have replaced the filter and fluid.with the truck running it acts like it is in park or neutral no matter where you put shifter.no change in rpm or anything.

Did you do the service to try to fix the problem, or did the problem start right after the service?
