Lightbulb Trail Gear creeper breather question

I have a few of these laying around from Trail-Gear

http://www.trail-gear.com/diff-breather.html

I was wondering if they could be used on the t-case as well or if anyone has done it. I called trail-gear to ask for the hell of it and they told me they have never tested it before but they wouldn't see why not. I'm just curious if anyone out there has used this on their transfer case. I'm getting ready to water proof my truck(diffs, and t-case) trans I'm not so worried about since its so high in the trans tunnel on the automatics.

You could use them anywhere really.

I prefer to vent my crap with hoses though, that little breather dealy just seems too vulnerable/fragile

you know that they sell flexible bottles very similar at craft stores for dispensing paint...that and a zip tie or small hose clamp will expand and contract just like the T-G thing...for $5 you can do both diffs...

I'll confirm that. Oil started dripping from the front diff after driving in 4WD. I took them off both diffs and extended the stock breather plugs, end of problem.
