Toyboy to the rescue

well took my yota on our first legitimate wheeling trip since i got my license on friday. went with a couple ford buddys. they didnt want to get their trucks muddy this time when we went to ones farm.
friend 1-78 f100 4x2 body 78 f150 4x4 everything else 351-m manual tranny

friend 2- 1996 ford f150 302 man tranny (cant find pics of his truck but this is basically it without the running board and canopy.)

so after i tore up the farm with one in the cab with me and the other in the bed we hit up a little uhhh... public service road. lol. friend 2 went with me and friend 1 in his truck. i get to the creekbed and turn around and there my friend is in his "badass" 78/79 ford f100 spinning his tires backing up trying to turn around. me and friend jump out and push him out.

then we head to a field by friend 1s house and mob it. then we take the back way out (friend 1s idea) its very marshy but i decided to hit it in 2wd, but they pussed out and locked in. i make it across in 2. friend 1 gets stuck as hell, and friend 2 made it taking a liottle higher ground.

friend 2 turns around and gets behind friend 1 to try and pull him out. gets stuck we are able to push him out barely. so in comes me in my badass muddier than hell yota,

crawling thru the swamp to hook up to friend 1. pop it in low, slap on the tow strap give it a bit of gas and away we went!

sorry for the long thread and the lack of action pics. we didnt have a camera. but i just thought i would share my first "legal" wheeling trip wwith my yote and my own personal toyota kicks ford in the danglers story

Congrats on getting your license man. And don't rub your yote in your ford friends faces too much...or they might burn a giant ford logo in your front lawn

Rock on!!! I've been some crazy places in old Fords but wouldn't trade my Toyota for any of them! Have fun, and don't sell the Yota when the other guys have to pull you out someday!
