todays snow run!

I went with the timber tramps to the blues mountains today to go wheelin in the snow.
I've never been in the snow as far as wheeling goes and man thats cool, didn't get stuck but plowed and rutted alot of stuff as well as hill climbed in it. The fj40 that was the seperated a tire after being high centered on a rock that was as big as a VW bug. Mind you the fj has 3link f/r suspesion coilovers and 37"s . Then the spidermonkey a 1/4 el. contraption that was like a nuclear sub breaking ice was plowing everywhere.
The first pi is the climb in which we made our own ways up, I am at the top to left already. Pic 2 was going into the pits we opted to rut for the 2nd time through this area the first was slow and about 3+ feet of snow. We started out with 10psi and eventually came down to 6psi. I later seperated a tire from rim at about 30mph when myself and another were shooting through the ditches in the drifts and I found the side of the ditch (hard). Then pic 3 is the spidermonkey. Enough said. Sorry about the pic, Its the only one giving me trouble.

Good the rear is like a small stimkbug when unloaded. But with the rack/tire and gear its level. Thanks for the deal. The wife kids and I are back there (Socal) this summer for good.

the 1st time i tried any serious wheeling in the snow i had my '84 and I was still learning to drive stick. the poor guys that were with me (all veteran yota wheelers) were pulling me out all day! they still ride me over that and that was 13 years ago!
