Is there a "collar" that goes on the pilot bearing?

Like the title says, i went to the machine shop and i found out the hole on the flywheel is too big for the bearing.

My old bearing was GONE, there was bearly anything left so im wondering, is there something like a collar that goes on the flywheel for the pilot bearing?

Edit. I just talked to a guy that has a 2L toyota engine (dont know what car) and he says is presses in to the crank. Correct?

Yes. No "collar", sleeve, or anything of the sort. The flywheel hole is significantly larger than the pilot bearing journal in the end of the crankshaft.

No bearing left eh? That's a little strange. Did it cause any issues?

Alright, thanks.

Well, if you go to the thread called "seperate t case from tranny" on the last post theres pics.
The bearing was in pieces, some stuck on the input shaft and there were like 3 ball bearings sitting in that hole where theres suposed to be a bearing.

I did hear some noise the past few weeks before i pulled the tranny but i ignored it.

I briefly browsed that thread the other day...missed that detail.

Thanks for filling me in there.
