Are there any major diiferences between a 91 and 94 4runner

As every knows I have a 91 4runner, and a member here is selling his 94 factory shop manuals. And I don't trust anything other than the FSM's. Would his '94 FSM's cover my '91 4runner?

Most things should be the same however it may have different cruise control and other acc. options. The only difference I can think of is the grill/looks no mechanical changes though.

I agree with Blueyoda, same thing with the Surfs out here, only major difference is the grill/headlights, heater/ a/c control, and maybe cruise control. My truck(1990) besides my front end(grill/headlights) and Heater/ A/C control is identical to my friends truck(1995) And the only difference with the A/C Control is mine is old school lever style and his is pushbutton style, not sure how 4runners in the states are, but i imagine they are pretty darn similar....

I have a 92 and a 95. when installing the engine from the 95 in the 92 I did come across some things. There are some sensors and the cruise control that are different. The started and alternator have different style plugs. That is all I have noticed.

Good call finding the 91 book.

There are quite a few cosmetic AND mechanical changes that were made between the years. If would take me about 20 mins to type out all the ones I know off the top off my head. And thats wouldn't cover em all!

Lol. That's what I thought, I won the auction on the 3 FSM's on ebay, now I just need the woman to send me her address so I can send the money order. I need your advice in the near future, Coug.....I ordered some 2" coil spacers from SDORI last week, and I may not have access to a set of spring collapsers....see where I'm going with this......? lol

Maybe, but the problem there is that your like 150 miles away.....! No, how would I go bout jacking up the axle to put the spacers in place? Put jacks under the frame for support, then jacking up just 1 side of the axle, and muscling the spacers in place, 1 coil at a time? How would you do it?
