Thanks...
I had always wanted a 1st gen 4Runner but something always stopped me. I have owned lots of cars and trucks, 12 VW's 3 of them Baja's, and never owned anything new then 1975, so working on things for me is really easy. It is just learning things new. this place has me looking almost everyday learning and researching things.. Good and bad.
5 Months ago a 87' came up for me and I took the chance. Ran like crap didn't shift good at all( I am disabled so need the AT) leaked thru the slider windows and windshield, hubs didn't lock. Well because of this site and me not being afraid to grab a wrench or hammer. I have a Dry, nice shifting rig with a newly rebuilt 22re that goes into 4WD.
I may ask a few dumb questions from time to time but I'm new to this. and you all are awesome, Thanks

Nothing really done yet to it a few little things here and there, spent most of my time getting it up and running. I did try to move most all I could away from the valve cover, don't know why but that stuff all annoyed me.
