i have a 1990 and the rear window dosent work completly it move a little, but i cant get the tailgate to unlock or open at all just need some tips and something i can do before i just rip the whole dang thing off cuz its starting to iritate me

 

The window has to be all the way down before the latch mechanism will allow the gate to unlock so you can open it. Just take off the back panel, and run power directly to the motor. This will allow it to go down.

If the motor is seized, you can unbolt the regulator and get it to drop down.
