if you put tps in the search engine it will give you links on how to set it correctly with the entire procedure including the timing. i dont know the link off hand but just type it in the search engine on this website.

Go slow and take some time to do it. I used alligator clip leads on my DMM to clip onto the pins of the tps. It makes it a lot easier when you have to get the feeler gauge in. I also got very confused with the orientation of the connector and which pin was which. Once you get it right the engine will thank you. good luck

Truckk is allot better but as I push in the clutch and let off the gas pedal I hear it motor act like it wants to stall.
It will.do this about three times then level out and idle normal
It will do this all the time
It will idle then drop real fast then drop
Kinda like if you are reving it up
Does anyone have any ideas

I believe he was referring to the shaft inside the throttle body that the butterfly is attached to. That shaft is what the t.p.s reads position of, and if there is excess play, you will never get it set correctly.

Went to the junk yard and I ended up getting the plug for the t.p.s. for free. I figure I can set the t p s easier with an extra plug.
The throttle body looked to bad to buy.
I was going to.get the shaft out of it

If you have an automatic transmission, the easiest way to check the TPS (BY FAR!) is by using the diagnostic port. http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1990-1995...1/troubles.pdf (page AT1-36)

Thanks. I have the old manual.
If stoped reaving up by itself. No codes
Now I have a little stuffed every now and then
If I rev it up by hand and it idle back down I hear a very little sucking noise.
I am slowly replacing vacuum lines
