Swappable parts

I have not seen any type of list that shows what parts are swappable to the 86-95 trucks and 4runners (example: Land cruiser springs to fix rear end sag or supra air flow mod) it would be a great asset to have a list of parts that will work/can be swapped out. just to be clear I'm talking about bolt in modifications that need little to no fab work.

I've always wondered about what land cruiser parts would swap. Seems like those are the heaviest duty parts Yota puts out. Also what late model parts could work even with a little mod. Would love a 6spd tranny in my 86.

When I moved my steering above the springs on my 85 I used Landcruiser tie rod ends. That's about all I am familiar with having never messed around with one.

Go to any of the dealer sites like http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/ Track down the part you are interested in. Click on "fitment," and the site will list all the years/models that part will fit.

Of course, that only lists parts that are actually swapable. It won't help you if you have a machine shop and are trying to modify parts from one vehicle to try to fit to another.

Scope103, I am talking more about parts from other toyota vehicles that are considered an "upgrade or mod" that has been used to make the 4runners stronger/off road better/ more flex, ect....

Another example 3rz & 5rz engine swap. Bolts in and improves power over what originally came with the vehicle.
