Stock flywheel weight?

one of my buddies had a machine shop drill the whole way around the outside edge of his flywheel off the clutch contact surface to lighten it up. Make sure they have the capability to balance it too... lighter does rev quicker!

It wasn't easy,,,,or pretty.
First I turned the backside with a brake lathe. That was about 5lbs
Then I use a drill and a die grinder to cut out the spaces between the clutch mounting holes.
I made an adapter and balanced it on a wheel balancer.
And it is remarkable how much it improved responsiveness. I'ts didn't make it into an instant drag car but it was a very noticeable improvement.
