Angry Starting Problem/ Hot or cold??

I have a 94 Yota Pickup 4x4, great truck but have a problem with the starting. It will fire right up when it is cold, but after running to normal temp and i shut it off to run into the store and try to start it again it will not start, it will turn over and has enough battery charge, and is getting fuel, so i have narrowed it down to the ignition/starting. i have heard coils go bad and all that but looking for some other ways to test it, to find the real problem. It has 194,xxx miles on the body, so maybe something expensive it due to happen, i dont know! Any info would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

The coil has spark, so that is good, we checked plugs, wires, and coils. We have found that the distributor gets really hot and may be causing it not to start when it gets too hot, i am going to check that then i dunno what else..
