Doing a SAS on my 88 runner.

Okay to all my new friends. I'm new here. I had the hardest time trying to figure out how to even start this thread. That was a challenge on it's own. Thanks to some great people I'm now able....

Anyway, now to my Issue. I just bought a All Pro SAS kit for my 88 runner and I need some advise. Anything would be helpful. There is no instructional kit anywhere. I need pictures step by step. I am not new to working on 4x4's. But this is a new project I'm taking on.

What do I do first. Hack off the entire front? I hope I have all the parts i need in that kit. So far all I have done is build my front axle. It looks very nice.

well thanx!

And yep, the post is in the right section, lol

but unfortunately, I have no advice on the SAS. I have a few buddies locally that have done it, but I've never messed with it myself... my IFS rig does me just fine; plus around these parts in Fl, there would really be no benefit to doing it for me...

Thanks guys... I'm still trying to learn about my runner more. So far getting the axle ready was pretty fun. The worst of it all was trying to get the birfields back together after packing them with new grease. That was a mess and a headache. But now I need to chop off the the IFS. I get to do this all in my trailer, since I don't have a garage and live in a condo. I have a welder in there to. I got it for a grand from craigslist. It's portable and a power house.

What's an easier way to post my pictures from my computer to this page?

PhotoBucket

Easy to use, but best of all it's free!
