Got my rims!

I got my rims and tires, and test fitted a rim on the front, I got 15x8 3.75" BS and 33x12.5" tires and the backspacing is what most IFS suspension lift companies reccomended, and it seems once I get my tires on my rims they will rub my tie rod? anyone got pics of how close it is?

measure from the axle to the upper arm, and then measure from the axle to the tie rod end. bet the upper arm is farther away.
test fit a rim on there and give us a pic.

The rims are getting mounted and balanced right now, theres no way to tell if the tires will hit the tie rod unless its mounted..

i'll tell you now, it won't. relax.
the tie rod end is more inward than the upper ball joint / control arm end.
it looks close, like it sticks out farther, but it's closer to the axle.

Yep, it wont Stock backspacing is 4.75 and I have seen 33x12.50" mudders on thoes without rubbing.

You will probibly rub on the inner fender/pinch weld area.

Yes, that spacing will clear all IFS lifts available.

I beat the pinch weld down towards the bottom, but I only went up to the bolt hole for that screw to hold the inner fender on, is that enough? I did that earlier today, I was just afraid once I got my tires tommorrow it would hit the tie rod or somethin, oh and do you think I could run these without any lift until I get my lift on? Or would it rub ALOT?

if the sway bar is on and the bushings are good, you'll only rub if you hit a good bump with the steering wheel 3/4 of the way to one side or the other.
... i hope.

my tires are about 31 and had about 1" clearance at full lock.

Yes, you will rub pretty good. My combo (wheels stick out another 1/4 inch) I rubbed with a 3" body lift over any bump with the wheels turned.... Just don't go wheeling or anything and go SLOW over bumps (when your wheels are turned)
