My thoughts exactly. You'll be replacing more than that motor if that branch breaks.

That branch ain't goin anywhere i can promise you that. It really don't look as big in the picture as it really is. It would be very nice if I had a shop to work in (life would be so much easier). I am waiting on a spot to come open at my buddies shop so I can get in with them at their shop.

Yeah the sticker was on it when i bought the truck. The guy had the truck sense he was 15, and I think he put in on there as soon as he got the truck cause the windsheild wipers have worn a groove in the decal.

Well I got the engine bolted in last night, so now all that is left to do is hook up a few wires and a bazillion vacuum hoses, change the oil, add some antifreeze , and crank her up. Hopefully all will go well (but usually not) guess all you can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. It will be my luck when I get the engine running the tranny or the t-case will be screwed up. Hopefully I can post pics of it at the first of the week running and in its new paint job.

UPDATE: I still have not got the truck running yet. I have been so busy between work, going on vacation, and working my wifes truck I have not had time to work on it. I am hoping that I can get it running by the end of next week. This week I will be working on my wifes truck installing new shift solenoids (lots of fun!). So maybe this weekend I might get a chance to start on it again. I have made a decision on the suspension, axles, and tires. It will be running DANA 60's with coil overs with a triangulated 4 link up front and out back leafs with revolver shackles sitting all nicely on 44's. Since I decided to go with larger axles I decided to go on with bigger tires. I am also goin to have to install hydro assist to be able to turn the huge tires. Ill be sure to keep it updated.

I removed the bed last night. Which I must say was a pain in the butt. The guy I bought it from had put a body lift on it and 3 of the bolts would not come loose at first. Then we finally got 2 of the 3 to come loose and the other one got the saw zaw treatment. Of course it was the one right above the gas tank so I had to be extra careful not to cut the gas filler neck. Now its ready for me to finish the paint if it would ever stop raining.

22r, all it takes is regearing the axles. I am not sure exactly what ratio I will be running yet, but it will either be a 5.86 or 6.17 ratio. With that ratio it should run close to stock. The 22r that is in my truck has about 150 hp so it should not struggle. Plus it will be twin t-cased, so no problems off road where it matters most. As long as it will get up to around 60 ill be happy that way I can drive it to some near by trails.
