You guys seen one of these? How does it work? Good for a temporary fix?

I bought the same one and it didn't fit quite right, wouldn't close completely. It was better than the original one that had torn completely in half but I still have to add grease all the time and it's a mess under there. I'm replacing mine as soon as things settle down in my life with a new cv.

We sell, and return ALOT of these at the store. They can be a pain in the butt the first time. I would personally never run one. Yotaman90 is the first person I have heard positive feedback from on these.

I don't care for them. I guess, in a pinch it's okay since you don't have to take the joint apart but they do leak. Better for the inners since they don't flex as much.
We used to use them a lot on VW's. Those joints are really tough though.

Yeah the boot was a pain in the butt to install, but it doesn't leak at all. My truck has manual hubs, so that probably explains why the boot doesn't leak
