Hey guys, I have a 1987 toyota pickup, 22r engine. It had a factory manual 4 speed transmission, but i purchased with a 5 speed manual transmission. so obviously the speedometer is not working. I removed the cable that goes into the rear of the transmission and found there is no speedometer drive gear on the trans output shaft. does anyone know what gear i need to get the speedometer to work? As far as I know the "DRIVEN" gear inside the cable is still factory. let me know what you guys think!
