Okay, maybe I should have said the current factory spark plug wires ( or I guess I should say current Genuine Toyota Spark Plug Wires, since they literally didn't come out with the Trucks new in the 1980s) are made by Sumitomo, and has been since at least 2013 with the spark plug wires on my Truck.

I wasn't even born until about 7 years after your Trucks were made, so I don't know which brand Toyota originally used.

Thanks for the clarification.

Awesome!

Thanks for the pictures!

It looks like Toyota still uses both Sumitomo and Yazaki for their spark plug wires, depending on the engine and what deal they made with their supplier.

I will report that the stammer that was happening at acceleration is now gone. I called the previous owner and he told me the Napa wires were put in 10 years ago and he had never changed the fuel filter. So I did both. We are back up to 90 again in no time. I’m happy camper. OEM filter from Toyota btw. On to the steering stuff ... btw I’m broke
