Swaping spark plug wires question

Hello all,

Someone told me that on his 93 Pickup 22re he swaped the thin spark plug wires from his, with the thicker spark plug wires from the 91 Pickup, and just swaped the distributar cap. He says there is a noticable difference.

Has anyone else tried this? The problem I'm seeing is how to plug the new wire into the ignition coil.

anything can be done, u might need to buy a new end set and they sell just one wire for coils and u can cut the end and put a new one on, i have had to fix or redo spark plug wires on cars and its easy to do.

autohausaz.com sells NGK wires cheap; amazon sells Denso wires cheap. Either will probably be better than a used set from any year.
