Sorry, but another backup light switch question.
First of all, I have tried searching the forums and have found plenty of info why my backup lights do not work. Chances are its the switch as I originally thought. My problem is that I actually cant find the damm thing. I thought I fount it earlier today, but it turned out to be the switch for the 4WD light (turns out that is also broken). Can someone post a pic (not to close) on where it is supposed to be located? All the threads I have read say it is on the passenger side on the trans housing. I know what it's supposed to look like but I still cant find it. I must need thicker glasses, again........
I have an 89 Toyota 4cyl. 22RE Pickup, Manual Transmission (not sure of the actual designation of the trans), 4WD.
Thanks in advance.............

I just replaced mine (R151F); it was a piece of cake. One of the easiest things I've ever done on my truck (& I've done EVERYTHING!)~
Look for the wire coming from the frame to the transmission. My guess is you're looking up by the bell housing....go back further if so.
