Solid Copper HG

Some one try these out..

http://www.scegaskets.com/Toyota/22R.../tc257553-1-2/

my HG is fine or I would, there always seems to be atleast 3 blown Head gaskets in here

Posted in here because there are 4 times as many viewers then the 84-85..can we just merge the two already? Half of the 86+ are sas'd any how.

20R/22R/RE/RET use the same head gasket, I'm pretty sure. So it's relevant.

Those are interesting. Did you know LCE sells MLS HGs for them too? http://www.lceperformance.com/MLS-He...-p/1024012.htm

You'd have to know how much was taken off. They make different thickness HGs to take up the difference. Shouldn't really matter too much though since the head was new. It's not going to raise the compression ration a whole lot. You might want to use a thicker one if you ever resurface the head.

Cool, MHGs for the 22RE! I've seen them for 7mge's, but not for the 4. Thanks for posting!

In all honesty, though, the 3VZE guys need this worse than we do.

Cometic makes a MLS MHG for the 22re.

Also- with a copper gasket, I believe you're going to have to go with o-rings.
