A body lift usually places urethane or rubber "pucks" between the body and the frame at the body mount points. If you use these you need to make sure the body is solid and not weakened by rust because they can inrease the stress on the mount points.

The HiluxSurf is what the 4runner is called in the rest of the world. The main differences are limited to some nicer options, diesel engine availability, and some overseas market specific safety/lighting parts.
