So i ran into some pulley problems help!
Im helping my buddy out on his 91 toyota pickup 4x4 22re 5speed the bearing seized up for the power steering tensioner. I removed it so he could drive it around till he got the pulley but when i removed everything i forgot to take of the tensioner bolt that goes in the back of the pulley i did however manage to remove the longer one. So I left it there thinking for some odd reason it wouldnt fall out. He came back with the pulley which by the way was smaller, and the tensioner bolt was missing. So i been searching threw heaven and hell looking for this damn part and no one seems to have it. Now for my question if anyone can help is the a\c idler pulley have the same bolts as the tensioner for the power steering? If anyone could take them off and compare them it would be greatly appreciated!!! By the way im new here as well. - 96 4runner 3.4L 5 speed rear locker arb bumper revtec lift.

You lost the tensioner bolt, not the one that goes thru the pully with the T-nut configuration on the back side right? Just take it to the hardware store, it's just a metric bolt nothing fancy, and they should be able to hook you up.
Pretty sure the A/C idler would be the same size.

You don't have to replace the whole pulley, just replace the bearing, I recently just did that same job.

If you need a specific bolt, see if there is a Fastenal store anywhere near you. They have or can get any bolt known to man pretty much as long as you know what you want.

Not sure about that one, probably the junk yard cause I don't even know how to describe that bolt for a search engine "double threaded dowel" just comes up with cross-thread links.
It's 12mm ID, and atleast 37mm long.
wyoming9 or someone will be along with a more help eventually.
And yes we have an excellent mom and pop hardware store, they have more catalogs than you can shake a stick at. And the tractor shop has to handle imported tractors, so they have a good selection of metric on hand.

I just did this too ('89 22RE). Ever auto parts store had the wrong size pulley assembly listed as the p/s tensioner pulley (i think it must be the a/c size). I pounded the old bearing out with a socket and slowly and evenly pressed the new bearing in using the old bearing to provide even pressure on the outer race. Works like a champ. That a/c pulley won't fit over the axle bolt (aka the short bolt).

Wow did I miss that one I don`t know what I was thinking.
Good news I have an extra one here at hand.If you want it let me know.
This is not really a bolt it is a special machined piece that is threaded so the adjusting bolt can move back and forth for adjustment .While also tightening the pulley in place.
Did you lose any of the other pieces??
