Shouldnt need to make the brackets, theyre a bolt on bumper lol.

I know, but they were made for a 90s model, so ive got tO make something to narrow the mounts up a bit, still looking at my options at the moment, mine are the 2 pipes welded together if that makes a difference.

theyre all dual-tube bumpers lol.
best way to do the front is to copy the stock style mounts.
or even take the stock mounts off your stock bumper and copy them in thicker metal for the smitty..

I have a Smitty on my rear and I like it. I also got if from craigslist. I have bumped things, been pulled and help pull other out with this bumper and no problem at all. I can assure you the stock would have crushed. Its an 80s truck so it looks appropriate with gear of that era.

Would you put some 2011 gear on 68 chevelle?

I would if it help performance. So your saying that if I want to build a car, I should use old, out dated technology from the era the car was made in? Ill take new parts any day.

who ever gets front and rear bumpers should add the Smitty built "sliders" I have..

and I replace the M with a H in normal conversation

You mean the nerf bars?
Lol.. those aren't sliders, they're blatantly nerf bars or steps.
