Slipping in reverse. Adjustments?

89 Toyota 4x4 truck automatic.
It is slipping in reverse.
Is there an adjustment I can do?
Something on the transmission band?

Check the fluid level and quality, if it's burnt drain and replace it and pray like mad because usually a failure of reverse indicates you're going to be replacing the transmission but just maybe you got lucky and its low.
